News Update

Visual Planet’s latest Blog Update features information on how you can create MA7 Log files of our MA7 Touch Software. Please follow the instructions on our Support Blog site if you encounter any issues with the foils and we will be able to quickly assess the situation by looking at your MA7 Log File. Issues can vary from issues with setup, installation, or configuration settings, and the log file will allow us to see your experience

How do I create a Log File of the Driver Software

Individual Driver CDs

What should Driver 2.1 and Driver 3.1 look like in the Graph tab

Sales Lead Time

It is important to note and also to avoid disappointment with your customers, that our standard lead times are 15-20 working days for orders below 25 units.

This allows us to maintain the high product quality standards

you have come to expect from Visual Planet.

How to know which Touch Driver to use

You can determine which Touch Driver your ViP Interactive Foil requires by looking at the delivery documentation sent with the foil, Warning Labels on Outer and Inner Packaging Tubes, and the foil’s Black electronic control board cover. We recommend that in the event of discarding Visual Planet delivery documentation you maintain

your own reference to the driver number for your own customers.

When using more than one driver on one machine

it is advised to uninstall the previous driver first, and especially

important to install each individual driver in separate folders on your system.

A Quick Reference to know which driver to use:

Driver 2.1 – Main Software for Bottom Tail

Driver 3.1 – Main Software for Side Tail

ViP Documentation on Driver Discs

Visual Planet provide additional information to the Quick Start and Installation manuals enclosed with every delivery.

On the Driver CD in the ViP Documentation folder you will find Installation Instructions, Branding Guides and our Foil Installation

Videos providing you with further information on how our ViP Interactive Foil is installed.

Foil Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance and Inspection of the ViP Interactive Foil is a specific part of Visual Planet’s production process.

The foils are closely inspected in specific areas of the process to ensure paramount foil quality.

Functional testing for the touch performance is carried out during the process of connecting the electronics and again in the final QA before packaging.

We recommend you perform a visual check of the packaging to ensure no visible damage has occurred in transit.

If it appears that the end(s) of the packaging tubes have been opened during customs you should

carefully remove inner tubing containing the ViP Interactive Foil and assess whether any damage has

occurred inside the tube. Please contact Visual Planet if damage is visible.

A rippling effect may occur during delivery of the ViP Interactive Foil. This will disappear during the lamination process.

We also recommend the ViP Interactive Foil is tested before installation takes place by using the Graph and Monitor Tabs within the Software.
